Electric Aviation Group (EAG) has started its selection of partners who will form the ‘Jet Zero Consortium’ for development of world’s first BRITISH BUILT 70+ seat Hybrid Electric Regional Aircraft (HERA) which would be a blueprint for larger, longer range aircraft concepts as the propulsion and energy storage technologies develop. It lays the foundations to secure a leading share in sustainable mass air transportation market. We will be a first mover in what is a $4.4 trillion market.”
The Jet Zero consortium, unrelated to the UK government’s recently formed Jet Zero Council, has been established to advance plans for the development of NetZero airliner within this decade. EAG will reach out to JetZero Council to explore collaboration opportunities with JetZero Consortium for their 70+ seat hybrid electric regional aircraft development programme.
EAG are engaged in discussion with all major aerospace supplier & academic institutions, currently not included in this list. We are also inviting SMEs and disruptive Tech Start-ups to join our ‘Jet Zero Consortium’ to deliver the world’s first ever 70+ seat Hybrid Electric Regional Aircraft (HERA). We are speaking with everyone who is willing to make investment (intellectual capital and/or investment capital) in the UK Aerospace Sector.
The Jet Zero Consortium will also provide an open forum for the discussion of new and disruptive technologies from which will emerge guidance, recommendations, and technical standards for decarbonisation of the aviation sector.
While the challenges are significant, Jet Zero Consortium regards them as opportunities to reinvigorate UK aviation and establish a leading presence around the World. Dissemination of Jet Zero Consortium’s strategic view and support to other nations will be critical if the paradigm shifts are to be adopted worldwide. The Jet Zero Consortium will work to establish the UK as a global influencer towards sustainable aviation from all perspectives.
The Jet Zero Consortium will work closely with the UK Government, via the Electric Aviation All Party Parliamentary Group (EAAPPG) to ensure that any strategic directions are appropriate and relevant to meeting all the Flightpath 2050 targets. Strong collaboration and commitment between the Government and the Sector will be a key objective to be facilitated by the Jet Zero Consortium.
The Jet Zero Consortium will partner with the men and women with the vision and desire to establish the benchmarks for the development of technologies and infrastructure for sustainable and electric aviation within the UK thereby promoting British skills excellence in electric and sustainable aviation advancement as part of a new global campaign to promote British Expertise.
