John Price is a graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and his experience in Aerospace Industry spans over 40 years. He held several high profile roles in his career including VP of Airbus Landing Gear and VP of Energy and Propulsion at EADS Innovation Works. John Price is a seasoned systems engineer with significant practical hands-on systems’ design, integration and certification experience. He currently holds a professorship and a consultant’s role at the Institute of Aerospace Technology (IAT) at the University of Nottingham.

Prof Pat Wheeler received his BEng [Hons] degree in 1990 from the University of Bristol, UK. He received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering for his work on Matrix Converters from the University of Bristol, UK in 1994. In 1993 he moved to the University of Nottingham and worked as a research assistant in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. In 1996 he became a Lecturer in the Power Electronics, Machines and Control Group at the University of Nottingham, UK. Since January 2008 he has been a Full Professor in the same research group. He was Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Nottingham from 2015 to 2018.
He is currently the Head of the Power Electronics, Machines and Control Research Group, Global Director of the University of Nottingham’s Institute of Aerospace Technology and is the Li Dak Sum Chair Professor in Electrical and Aerospace Engineering. He is a member of the IEEE PELs AdCom and was an IEEE PELs Distinguished Lecturer from 2013 to 2017. He has published 500 academic publications in leading international conferences and journals.

Dr Behrooz Barzegar is a graduate in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Salford and his work experience in aerospace industry spans over 40 years. He was directly responsible for the Aerodynamic design of Jetstream 41 and all Airbus products for the period of 2000 to 2006, specifically the A380 and the Airbus A400M. In addition, Behrooz was recognised as an Airbus Product Chief Engineer and aircraft architect. He held several Senior Leadership Roles including Head of Airbus Flight Physics, Director of Aircraft Research Association (ARA), Director of Computational Fluid Mechanics Simulation (CFMS), etc. He has a proven record of national and trans-national leadership in commercial aircraft design and development.

Prior to this, he worked for Dutch multinational AkzoNobel while developing their export business into GCC, and African Markets. With a unique combination of technical expertise and a strong business acumen, Naveed has continuously demonstrated his leadership abilities.
He is currently appointed as a Business Development Leader for Saint-Gobain EQYO, where he oversees the development of their Bristol plant and provides innovative solutions to global customers in the automotive, energy, aviation, rail, and off-highway sectors. His influence extends beyond his corporate roles; he is a founding board member of the Green Business Council, was an active member of the Pakistan Chemical Manufacturers Association (PCMA), and being President of Swiss Business Council in Pakistan, where he drove investment activities through strategic policy formation during his tenure. In UK, he is a member of The Society of Motor Manufactures and Traders (SMMT) and Governor for Cardiff Council.
Naveed's extensive experience and leadership in both technical and business domains make him a key figure in advancing sustainable industrial practices and fostering multi-sector economic growth related to construction, energy, aviation, technology and automotive.
